Banditry is one of the security challenges currently affecting Nigeria especially the northern part of the country. Many people lost their lives to this menace including some of our gallant security men, but all efforts to contain the situation by the federal government prove abortive. Just recently, a twitter user, @oziboofficial shared how he lost a close relative to him, to the barbaric action of the bandits.

According to Ozibo, his friend Abuchi lost his life just few days after they have a conversation on phone. Ozibo stated that Abuchi like many other fallen soldiers called to notify the family that he’ll be going for a mission in one of the forest in Abuja on Wednesday. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it alive as the Nigerian Army Headquarters called to notify the family of his death.

“My HERO IS GONE. He called me on Wednesday that he’s going to the forest In Abuja, next thing the @HQNigerianArmy call that he’s dead. He died fighting bandits. Good night Abuchi.” He writes on his official twitter handle yesterday.
